Of tapering cylindrical form, the hinged bayonet engraved with monogram, the base with detachable beaker with reeded rim and engraved with a crest, gilt interior, height 27.5cm; together with a similar example, by Thomas Johnson, London 1863 with replaced lid, 1877, the removable beaker and bulbous lid engraved with a 'C' below a stylised coronet the beaker also engraved to the underneath, 'From H. Glyn 1878', height 26cm, weight total 17.5oz.
