A Victorian silver presentation goblet

Thistle form, the body profusely chased with a hunting scene, with two c-scroll framed cartouches, the first with an armorial engraved shield, the second with a presentation inscription, 'Shelton Gorse Established 1814', all below a band of acanthus leaves, raised on a girdled stem with leaf flange and terminating in a circular foot with fruiting vine leaf decoration, gilt interior, height 21.3cm, weight 19oz.
