A late 18th century walnut longcase clock

The caddy top with turned finials over the break arch hood door and chequer inlaid long trunk door, raised on a plinth base with corresponding decoration, the signed 12 inch Roman and Arabic brass dial with subsidiary strik/silent to the arch, foliate mask spandrels, the matted centre with subsidiary seconds, calendar aperture and applied silvered signature plaque, the two train weight driven movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on a bell, the wheelwork with unusually short collets for the period. 257cm (8ft 5in)
