the shallow bell topped case with central handle over canted corners, shaped and circular glazed panels and a moulded base on brass ogee bracket feet, with pierced and engraved quadrant sound frets to the brass lined front and rear doors, the 5.5inch arched brass dial with strike/silent in the arch over scroll spandrels, a Roman and Arabic chapter ring and matted centre with recessed signature plaque and blued steel hands, the twin fusee movement with anchor escapement rack striking on a bell, case associated, 36cms (14ins) high
