signed J Sewill, 30 Cornhill, Royal Exchange, London,
the grained oak case with three spire finials and carved with Gothic arches, fitted with a 7.5 inch silvered Roman signed dial, with subsidiary dials above for Fast/Slow, Chime/Silent and Cambridge Chimes/Chime on eight bells, fitted with a triple chain fusee movement chiming on eight bells and striking on a gong, with pull repeat, together with matching bracket, the clock 78cm high, overall 111cm high (2)
