Two colour gold and black enamel ring, with the initial "W" on a chased gold background, between enamelled openwork shoulders. The interior of the band inscribed James Watt died 25 Augt. 1819 Aged 83. The rear of the cartouche containing a plait of hair behind a crystal panel. In a rectangular black case.
