Rectangular with rounded ends, the cover with a panel of braided hair under glass with a split pearl frame, gold hinge and push button release, the interior with mirror and green velvet lining, length 9cm; together with an ivory cased barometer, rectangular form, the cover inset with a compass under glass, with gold hinge and push button release, the interior with mercury barometer and toothpick holder, the underside of cover lacking mirror, length 7cm.
