Metallic light blue coated aluminium board, fitted with two Hanhart single button stopwatches, German made, each with white dial, red Arabic numerals, outer 1/10th second track, blued steel hands, subsidiary dial at 12 with red racing style outer divisions for 15 minute recording, dial signed, held in sprung clips with chromed security caps, activated by a single lever mechanism on the right of the board with lock for transport and storage, fitted pen clip, brown leather neck strap and timing sheet clips, black placque to the top left corner signed Ferrari-Duostop, together with later Hanhart 'Robotimer' box and a selection of literature

- In the days before the prancing horse adorned everything from pens to fragrances to childrens toys and all in between, The Hanhart Ferrari-Duostop represented a rare, early instance of Ferrari putting their brand on something other than a car.
During the late 1950's and 1960's Hanhart produced a number of timing devices for the factory Ferrari team, including the Addi-Stop, Duostop, Two-Stop and Tri-Stop which were neck worn devices to aid lap timing. Although all models of Hanhart Ferraris are rare in their own right, the clipboard featured here is especially so with very little information available on other examples. With its original leather neck strap and the movements having recently been serviced, this lot is ideal for the Ferrari collector who has everything and could see great use in regularity events or on the pit wall at Goodwood Revival.
