Footnotes

  • In late 1964 Heuer merged with Leonidas and as such, movements and the interior of case backs were stamped with both names going forward. The compensated balance wheel, blank crown, hexagonal case back and Ed Heuer & Co signing inside indicate that this is an early pre-merger example of the 2447 D, with the signature blue decimal scale contrasting nicely with the white dial.
