Footnotes

  • Jack Heuer had a keen interest in the America market and having gained exposure to the US public through his equipment being used for timing motorsport events, he chose to name one of his models to leverage this further. The Chevrolet Camaro, introduced in 1966, was used as the Indianapolis 500 pace car and provided the perfect name for a new model from Heuer. Produced from 1968 to 1972 the Camaro represents an unusual and fairly rare model, making this the ideal choice for those looking for something other than a Carrera.
