Insignia opera, first edition, title printed in red and black, with borders and device on criblé ground, minor wormhole up to about f4, touching some letters, a crisp copy, eighteenth century inscripton of Jesuits at Paris on title, Duke of Sussex bookplate, 1955 bill for a guinea from Bernard Middleton to Graham Pollard, for rebacking and mending edges, contemporary Parisian calf, blindstamped with triple row of bee and flower roll (Gid ANe6, 3 examples on books dated 1516-23) surrounded by double impression of floral roll (similar but not we think identical to Gid Fln23), rebacked [Adams P879], folio, Paris, Petit, 1519
