Libri novem, EDITIO PRINCEPS OF THE GREEK TEXT, Aldine device on first and last pages, [Adams H394; Ahmanson-Murphy 62], Venice, Aldus, 1502, bound with two other Aldine editions, apart from a few rustmarks in the last 4 leaves of the final work, all three in fine condition, with inscription "Bibliothecae [word crossed out] 1710", later in the collection of Sir Thomas Phillipps, with pencil note 'MHC' and ink pressmark, eighteenth century Dutch(?) mottled calf, spine gilt with floral bouquet in compartments, marbled endpapers, edges sprinkled in red and grey, two minor patches of worm damage, folio
