The Historie of Man, Sucked from the Sappe of the Most Approved Anathomistes, in this Present Age, first edition, black letter, title within woodcut ornamental border, woodcut plate ("A Table of the Instruments Servyng to Anathomiacall Dissection") bound before title, 4 full-page woodcut illustrations after Vesalius, ?without final blank, early ink annotations in margins (mostly towards the front of the book), fore-margin of plate, title and colophon leaf repaired with some loss to blank margin, small hole affecting letters of 2 leaves of index, shaved touching approximately 20 running-headings, early ownership inscription "Ex libris Will: Greaves Trin: Coll." bookplate of Robert Castles Embleton, nineteenth century half calf, defective [STC 1359; Durling 460; Wellcome 14307210], small folio (260 x 180mm.), John Daye, 1578
