Buyer's Premium Rates
25% on the first $100,000 of the Hammer Price
20% from $100,001 to $2,000,000 of the Hammer Price
12% on the excess over $2,000,000 of the Hammer Price

Payment Notices

The Serendipity auction is an online (no auctioneer) auction. All of the property will be picked up from the Serendipity Bookstore in Berkeley, California, until Friday, June 29, 2012.

Payments will not be taken at the bookstore so all customers should be instructed to contact the Cashiering office to remit payment.

After Friday all of the sold property that has not been paid or sold property that will be shipped, will be taken to Box Brothers in San Leandro.

Bonhams internal Shipping Department will not be processing any ship quotes for this auction. All shipping arrangements will be handled by Box Brothers.

If a customers remits payment in SF, NY or LA and plans to pickup at the bookstore in Berkeley, there is a special "BER" pickup designation that must be used when processing payment.

The collection slip for all pickups should be sent via email to the following Bonhams email address that has been setup specifically for this auction.

There will be a crew member on site at the Book Store until Friday who will print the collection slips and release property.

Collection slips for all purchases with a ship to destination, should be faxed directly to Box Brothers in San Leandro, fax #510-628-8454.
