Six-character Tongzhi mark within double ring to the base, late Qing Dynasty or Republic
With flaring rim supported on a short foot rim, painted in the centre with a scene of children celebrating the Lantern Festival around a garden pavilion, the rim painted against a black ground of floral scrolls, the underside painted in enamel floral scrolls of the four seasons within underglaze blue double-ring.
