Six-character Qianlong mark to the base, and of the period
Flaring mouth rim and short foot rim, gilded in the centre a ferocious full-faced dragon, entwining a central 'flaming pearl' amid a scatter of flames, all within a gilded ring, the back painted in overglaze red with bamboo branches, mouth and foot rims gilded with brown glaze.
