A pair of large famille verte enameled porcelain fish bowls
The massive ovoid vessels surmounted by bulbous mouth rims enameled with thin bands of cracked ice and prunus, the exteriors of which are encircled by bands of repeating geometric patterns surrounding small reserves of floral and babao subject matter above sides of large figural reserves in varied shapes on an intricately composed ground of flowers, butterflies, gourds and sanduo motifs, all above yellow-ground stylized lotus petal bands surrounding the unglazed foot rims and bases.
