A group of three jade carvings
19th century
The first a thinly sectioned and reticulated pale greenish white plaque depicting a bat facing a butterfly amid foliage, carved and incised to both sides; the second an off-white pebble worked as a peach hanging from a reticulated branch with pale russet patches, now hollowed for use as a snuff bottle with carnelian stopper; the third a white jade pendant drilled and undercut as a leafy vine with descending gourds and leafy tendrils.
