Of leonine appearance, the mother curled and recumbent with prominent raised boss-shaped spine bones and individually incised tufts of mane surrounding her curled horn, amid two cubs crawling at her ear and left haunch, intricately carved in stone of light green hue and mottled cloudy inclusions with prominent patches of russet.
