The tall thin vessel of compressed pear shape atop a flaring foot, the trumpet shaped neck supporting simply rendered s-shaped handles suspending separately carved rings, one side incised in shallow relief to depict a tall phoenix amid crashing waves and rocks beneath ruyi shaped clouds, the reverse depicting a massive blooming peony also amid crashing waves and rocks; the stone of deep olive green hue with mottled cloudy inclusions and sizable russet colored patches.
