Sincere Haute Horlogerie, established in 1954, is one of Singapore's oldest and established retailers of luxury watches, with operations across Southeast Asia.
In 2006, F.P. Journe produced just 15 pieces of the Octa Calendrier, in a unique combination of PT950 platinum case and black mother-of-pearl dial, exclusively for SINCERE Haute Horlogerie, such as this present lot. The delicate luminescent beauty of the black mother-of-pearl with its mysterious petroleum rainbow hues is the face of the exquisite Calibre 1300-2. This high complication annual retrograde calendar movement has 241 components with 21,600 v.p.h, plates and bridges crafted in 18ct rose gold and an impressive power reserve of 120 hours.

Lauded for producing uniquely complicated and sophisticated timepieces which push the boundaries of expert horological craftsmanship, F.P. Journe is an exclusive watchmaker that produces less than a thousand timepieces annually. With exacting attention to detail, F.P. Journe's vision is that beauty begins from outside rather than from within he commences his creative process by designing the dial and then arranging the internal mechanism accordingly.

To our knowledge, this is the first time that this reference has been offered at auction. There are only 15 pieces in existence.
