Mid Qing dynasty
Each woven with four sections, the central section detailed with a four clawed dragon encircling a flaming pearl amidst stylised ruyi clouds and flames, above an archaistic lotus medallion surrounded by auspicious bats and stylised clouds, the upper section woven with a shou lantern of abundance, suspending bejewelled ruyi pendants in tones of blue, white and coral, the lower section decorated with rolling waves from which emerge a pavilion flanked by a pair of dragons and Buddhist lions, all reserved on a shimmering coral ground, mounted.
