A yellow glass 'narcissus' jardinière
Mid Qing dynasty
The quatrelobed vessel with petal-like sides rising to a flared scalloped rim, conjoined from a diamond-shape relief, the exterior intricately carved with a continuous lotus pond scene depicting two mandarin ducks, stalks of blooming lotus blossoms, pods and leaves springing from a coiled foot formed from tied lotus stems.
17cm diam.
