A white jade 'lotus leaf' brushwasher
Ming dynasty
Deeply-hollowed and worked as a single large lotus leaf with incurving edges, the exterior with shallow-relief veining, issuing from tied cluster of six stems with further lotus leaves, lotus pods and budding lotus, all curling at the underside in high relief, two chi dragons clambering up from opposing sides peering at each other from the rim.
17.5cm wide.
