Early Qing dynasty
Of rectangular form rising from a slightly recessed foot, gently curving at the shoulders, applied with an ear-shaped handle opposite the swan-neck spout, colourfully enamelled with butterflies swaying amidst potted narcissuses in full bloom in between bands of dotted design, the cover surmounted by a curved knop of loop form, enclosed within a rectangular panel of alternating butterflies and asters.

清早期紫泥貼花加彩方圓壺

壺方圓形身，方口，直頸，三彎流，正耳把，平蓋，雙龍首口含明珠成壺鈕，壺身四面均從肩部向下收斂，兩面以貼泥飾水仙花，壺流、把、壺蓋及壺身均加彩點綴，並繪花蝶紋。

此壺造型簡樸，紫泥胎質較薄，色澤暗沉，然壺身彩釉繪畫風格頗有西洋韻味，或為出口荷蘭彩釉作坊後加。
