A Dutch-decorated Yixing teapot and cover
Early Qing dynasty
Of rectangular form rising from a slightly recessed foot, gently curving at the shoulders, applied with an ear-shaped handle opposite the swan-neck spout, colourfully enamelled with butterflies swaying amidst potted narcissuses in full bloom in between bands of dotted design, the cover surmounted by a curved knop of loop form, enclosed within a rectangular panel of alternating butterflies and asters.
