Mid Qing dynasty, signed Yi Gong
Of concave cylindrical form rising to slanting shoulders and a straight neck above the gently splayed foot, applied with a swan-neck spout and a loop handle on opposing sides, the skilfully fitted cover of flattened circular form surmounted by a slightly compressed knop, the underside of the cover and the base impressed with seal marks, the clay of a reddish dark brown.
