A large Yixing appliqué-decorated 'lion' teapot and cover

Of compressed globular form rising from a slightly recessed foot, applied with a loop handle set opposite a swan neck spout, the body appliqué-decorated on each side with a pair of chi dragons above a detach sprig of peony, the cover surmounted by a finial in the form of two recumbent lion dogs with their feathery bodies deftly incised.
