A 'butterflies and flowers' flask
Qianlong four-character seal mark and of the period
Of pear-shaped form with a slender cylindrical neck rising gently from a splayed foot, the body depicting vividly enamelled butterflies with long antennae flying amidst peony and narcissus sprigs beneath a band of conjoined trefoils, all reserved on an even turquoise ground.
21cm high.
