A finely potted celadon 'twin fish' dish
Ming dynasty
Sturdily potted with rounded sides rising to an everted rim, the interior decorated with a pair of moulded fish swimming in opposite direction amidst water plants and further stylised lotus heads on the cavetto, the exterior with chrysanthemum petals beneath a band of scrolls, covered overall in a glaze of sea green color.
