A Jeron Quarter Classics, 1/4 scale Lancia D-50,
finely detailed, painted light blue with the 50s era Lancia branding, this example is 1 of 25 completed by Jeron Quarter Classics in the 70s. The body is completely handmade of aluminium sheet metal. The tubular frame rails and aluminium bulkheads are all handmade. Powered by a single cylinder, gas powered engine, it could reach speeds of 50 M.P.H. all while being radio controlled. Equipped with independent front and rear suspension with coil over shock in the front and in the rear. The tires and wire wheels are mounted with working knock-offs. A beautifully machined dashboard with some working gauges and a wood rimmed steering wheel are mounted. This rare model has a makers plate located under the seat cushion but is un-numbered. The model is shown on page 104 of "Spindizzies." A copy of the book is included with the model. approximately 48in. long.
