The Reference 5960 is highly sought after as it contains an in-house automatic chronograph movement. The round compact case and its round pushers are inspired by the iconic Reference 3970. In earlier production, the watch featured a grey brushed dial for its platinum version; since 2010, the brand introduced the blue brushed dial such as this present lot. The 30 minute register is marked with a 60 minute scale, allowing for greater chronograph timekeeping accuracy. The Reference 5960 is a stellar example of Patek Philippe high complication modern production timepieces.
