To our knowledge, this will be the first time the RM 028 is appearing at auction. This highly desirable contemporary timepiece was released to the public in 2009, following closely on the footsteps of the acclaimed RM 025 tourbillon diver's watch. Encapsulating the signature avant-garde aesthetics of Richard Mille design, the RM 028 is both practical and innovative. With an easy to read dial and large sized luminous hands, this innovative timepiece adheres to diver's watch ISO norm 6425 with an impressive water resistance of 300 meters (30 ATM). The strength is achieved using a three-part case construction with 22 torque screws tightened into the bezel and completely integrated lugs. Featuring a variable winding level, the RM 028′s skeletonized calibre incorporates a rotor of variable geometry with two wings, a pioneering micro-engineering development that automatically adjusts the level of automatic winding to the user's movements.
