A Chinese famille rose vase
Late Qing or Republic
Painted with scholars in a bamboo landscape, the figures grouped into three, indulging in the 'four arts'; chess, the zither, calligraphy and painting, the neck inscribed with a short paragraph dedicated to the scene with two seals, flanked with two 'ruyi' handles, mouth rim gilded, six character iron red Daoguang seal mark to the base.
