Republic period, circa 1930
The fisherman sitting on the grass, crossed legs, wearing long flowing robes, immersed in deep thoughts, his fishing rod lying against his basket.
26.3cm x 38.8cm.

    Private collection NSW, purchased during late 1950s or early 1960s in Hong Kong.

    Note:

    The plaque was taken out of its frame, revealing traces of four rails running in parallel, the sign of the firing process during the Republic period where the plaques were placed on a rack for firing.
