Each panel decorated with hardstones of different shades, composing scenes of traditional Chinese themes set in garden pavilions, all titled in carved jade, one of a couple enjoying flowering quince, titled "The Flowering Quince" [海棠囗畅], one of a scholar accompanied by his servant carrying a zither, titled "To visit a friend with a zither" [携琴访友], one of a lady holding a ruyi in her hand, accompanied by two lady servants, titled "To the bathhouse" [贵锦出浴], one of a couple tasting tea, titled "Dongpo Tasting tea" [东坡试茗]
