Together with eight Feather edge table knives and six dessert knives, by Garrard & Co, London 1927, six fish forks, probably by Lee & Wigfull, Sheffield 1915, engraved and monogrammed, six Old English pattern soup spoons by Josiah Williams & Co, London 1929-30, one Fiddle pattern sauce ladle, maker's mark 'WE', no town mark and two serving spoons, one Old English pattern example by William Fearn, London 1776, the other a Fiddle pattern example, marked "Sobey", Exeter 1842, weight excluding knives and fish forks 50oz. - Please note this lot also includes a cased set of six fish knives and forks, by Henry Atkin, Sheffield 1904, the handles with beaded borders and the silver tines and blades bright engraved with wavy floral borders.
Please also note there is one Argyle pattern dessert fork less than stated.
The total weight is now 48.5oz, not 50oz as catalogued.
