  • The arms are of Sir Benjamin Heywood, Baronet, an eminent Manchester banker and successor in a line of bankers from Manchester and Liverpool. Born on 12 December 1793, he was created a baronet on 9 August 1823 and died 11 August 1865 when he was succeeded by the eldest of six sons borne by his wife, Sophia Ann (neé Robinson) whom he married in 1816.
