A Victorian silver salver
by Stephen Smith, London 1872
Shaped-circular form, the pierced lattice-work border with applied floral garlands and leaf embellished bead rim, the centre with engraved basketwork among foliate scrolls, raised on three foliate scroll lion paw feet, engraved with a crest and motto, diameter 33.5cm, weight 30.5oz.
