Comprising: one, probably by Joseph Willmore, Birmingham, circa 1810, of plain ovoid form, the grille pierced with flowerheads and engraved patchwork border, length 2.7cm, one, by Thomas Willmore, Birmingham 1798, oval form with bright engraved borders, dot-pierced grille, length 3cm, one, by R.Mitchell, Birmingham 1821, rectangular form with bright engraved and leaf borders, diamond pierced grille, length 1.9cm, one, by Cocks & Bettridge, Birmingham 1806, oval form with bright engraved borders, the centre with stylised seaweed engraving, diamond pierced flowerhead grille, length 2.6cm, one, possibly by William Lewis, London 1806, rectangular form with curved corners, with all over engraved stylised seaweed decoration, pierced floral grille, length 3cm, one, by Edward Smith, Birmingham 1850, shaped-rectangular form with waisted sides, profusely engraved with foliate scrolls, the grille pierced with leafy scrolls, length 2.5cm and one, by Fredrick Marson, Birmingham 1858, shaped-rectangular form with scroll edge and waisted sides, engine-turned centre, grille absent, length 3.5cm, together with a silver pill box, by John Henry Hill, London 1918, rectangular form with all over engine-turning, length 3.5cm, a double vesta case, by Yapp & Woodward, Birmingham 1851, rectangular form with all over engine-turning, initialled, length 5.5cm, a similar silver-gilt and niello French example, maker's mark 'L.T', circa 1860, rectangular form, with in-built cutter, length 7cm and a vesta box, by Charles Cooke, Birmingham 1889, rectangular form with reeded sides profusely engraved with foliate scrolls, length 5.5cm.
