A Victorian silver-gilt two-handled cup

Tapering quatrefoil form with lobed sides, the body embossed with bands in the Renaissance manner with goats and floral bouquets between masks with bead borders, the Renaissance style scroll handles capped with the heads of classical maidens, the stem with a chased hexagonal girdle, on a circular base embossed with classical mask and husk border, height 27cm, weight 33oz.
