A George III silver cream jug
probably by William Doyle Dublin, 1807
Oval form with dot engraved zig-zag borders, the body with modelled girdle decorated with bright-cut engraved leafy guilloche border, fluted rim and handle, raised on four applied ball feet; together with a pair of late 18th century Irish silver salts, by William Bond, Dublin, with applied gadroon rims, the sides pierced with foliate scrolls and central reserve engraved with a crest, raised on three applied claw and ball feet, with blue glass liners, one salt repaired (3), weight 10.5oz.
