Of compressed baluster form with lobed sides divided by prominent scroll ribs and surrounded by tidal spume, undulating rims with floral and scroll embellishments, the pots with domed hinged covers and acanthus leaf and contorted scroll finials, acanthus capped double scroll handles, bowl and jug with gilt interior, ivory insulators, engraving to the base of every piece "Elizabeth Larbalestier" and "The gift of her mother, October 1857", height of coffee pot 25cm, weight total 114oz. (4)
