An Old Sheffield plate table centrepiece
possibly by Henry Wilkinson & Co, second quarter of the 19th century
The central flaring fluted trumpet with a foliate scroll border, four detachable scrolling branches with stylised leaf drip-pans and fluted sconces with foliate scroll rims, the waisted column with overhanging stiff-leaf flange and beaded girdle, on a lobed shaped-circular base embellished with flowers on four open-work foliate scroll feet, height 37cm.
