The cover set with a portrait miniature on ivory of an officer in profile within a gold frame and a gold piqué border, diameter 6cm, together with a 19th century French gilt metal bonbonniere, bearing pseudo marks, the cover set with an ovoid decorative miniature, on a chased rayed ground within a floral border, diameter 7.5cm, a 19th century gilt metal mounted vernis matin circular snuff box, the cover set with a portrait miniature on ivory of an officer set on a translucent lacquer ground, the gilt metal mounts with milled edge, diameter 7.5cm, a 19th century French gilt metal portrait box, rectangular with canted corners, the cover with a circular portrait miniature on ivory of a gentleman on a wavy engine-turned ground within a stiff leaf border, the sides decorated with musical trophies, length 6.5cm, a late-18th century French gilt metal snuff box, the cover decorated with a figure of Juno in an architectural capriccio, the interior of the cover set with a miniature of a lady, the wavy sides engraved with a foliate scroll band, length 8cm, a 19th century French mother of pearl and gilt metal mounted circular box, the cover with cast relief rocaille decoration over a mother of pearl panel engraved with butterflies, birds and flowers, diameter 7cm and an 18th century painted wooden gaming box, in the style of Mariaval le Jeune, with green stained ivory counter wheel, length 8.5cm.
