Original purple cloth; pictorial jacket. Hinges cracked with a little repair, cloth darkened, edges rubbed; chips and old repairs to jacket extremities (touching lettering at head of spine panel), folds rubbed, small stain at front flap.

FIRST ARGENTINE EDITION AND THE FIRST EDITION IN SPANISH, trade issue on "papel Polar." The scarce dust jacket reproduces Augustus John's 1930 portrait on the front panel and a collage of 5 photographs of Joyce on the rear panel. Translated by José Salas Subirat. Slocum & Cahoon D-115.
