The first of a puppy seated, playing with a rope tied to its collar, its eyes inlaid, 2.8cm (1⅛in); the second of a monkey bearing a morose expression as it holds a peach, 3.2cm (1¼in); the third of a piebald puppy looking up with an alert expression, its eyes inlaid and its patches of black and gold lacquer, 3.2cm (1¼in).
