A mounted Shinto wakizashi

The blade of hira-zukuri form with suguba of nioi and nie with sunagashi, mokume hada, the ubu-nakago with one mekugi-ana, signed Yoshu oite imabari Nagakiyo saku; in shirazaya with sayagaki by Sato Kanzan; koshirae; the saya of red lacquer, the iron tsuba pierced with sangai-bishi mon, Higo School iron fuchi-gashira, shakudo kozuka with a gold rat and inscription and the silver menuki in the form of seated rats. The blade 51.5cm (20¼in) long.
