The russet-iron mask boldly forged in one piece with the nose and ears riveted on, the wide mouth opening beneath the beak without an upper lip, beneath the chin are two brass otayori no kugi signed; the interior lacquered red and fitted with a two-lame brown-lacquered itamono yodarekake laced with dark blue sugake odoshi and gilded leather hishinui. 33cm (13in).
