The jovial, corpulent God of fishermen leaning back on one knee, holding his rod with one hand as he admires a caught tai fish held in the other, his robe cast with a foliate motif, signed with stamped signature Josetsu within an oval reserve. 25cm x 24.5cm (9 7/8in x 9 5/8in).
