Five iron tsuba
Shoami School, Nobuie style, 17th to 18th century
The first of oval form, pierced with clouds, signed Shoami, 7.4cm (2 7/8in); the second of mokko form, with hammered shippo design, signed, 6.9cm (2 11/16in); the third of circular form, pierced with clouds, signed Shoami Shigenobu, 7.2cm (2 13/16in); the fourth of rounded rectangular form, pierced with clouds, signed Shoami Shigenobu, 8.3cm (3 1/4in); the last carved and pierced in the form of a wheel, unsigned, 7.8cm (3 1/16in).
